Occasionally you will find your need to enroll users into a course. This can either be done on a user by user basis or you can enroll users in bulk.

Enroll a Single User

There are two options available in order to enroll a single user into learning objects. This can be achieved through both the Explore tab and within the User profile itself.

Option 1 - Explore Tab

  1. To begin, Click on Explore and find the course you wish to enroll a user in.
  2. Click the ... Next to the course
  3. Click Enroll Other Users
  4. From here you can search for and add the User on this page.

Option 2 - User Profile

  1. Click your name in the right hand corner
  2. Press Administer, then click Users
  3. Find the user you wish to enroll, and click on their name.
  4. You will see an option for "…" next to “Edit” on the righthand side.
  5. Click Enroll Learning
  6. By selecting “Enroll learning” a pop-up will show which will allow you to search for the course or learning item by name and enroll the user on their behalf

How to enroll Users in Bulk

There are a few different ways you can enroll users in bulk.

EXPLORE TAB

  1. To begin, Click on Explore and find the course you wish to enroll a user in.
  2. Click the ... Next to the course
  3. Click Enroll Other Users
  4. From here you can search for and add multiple users on one page.

WITHIN COURSE REPORTS

  1. To Start, Click on Explore and Find the course in question
  2. Click into the course
  3. Click on Reports
  4. Click Enroll
  5. Add as many users as you'd like!

You can click the checkboxes next to any user name and a “…“ box will appear above the list. Alternatively, the very top checkbox to the left of the Name column will automatically tick all users within the portal. Each user will then be notified of this and the enrollment will appear in their My Learning area.

Note: to enroll users into interactive learning items, the process is slightly different because clicking on a tile for an interactive learning item in Explore will open the item directly. Instead, start by finding the interactive learning item you need in Explore as normal. On the right side of the tile for this learning item you will see a “…“ box. Click this and select "Enroll" from the drop-down menu. Alternatively, click on "Settings" and go to the "Results" tab where you will find an "+Enroll users" button.
