Introducing the new Learning tab | Go1 Learning app for Microsoft Teams

The Learning tab has a new look, making it easier than ever to deliver impactful formal or informal learning to your employees.

Updated over a week ago

How do I access the new dashboard?

Access the new look by selecting ‘switch to new version’ at the bottom of the Learning tab in any channel of which you are a team owner.

What can I do in this new view?

The new view offers a flexible template to which you can add components, and the ability to re-order sections of this template to ensure the order of your training makes sense, and building on prior knowledge.

To ensure this, we have also removed all channels within the learning tab, offering a blank slate so all learning in the tab is relevant to the channel you are in, for a simpler learner experience.

The new layout allows you to:

  1. Add learning from the Go1 Content Hub through ‘Search Go1’

  2. Create targeted learning in modules for your channels.

  3. Add your own content in either SCORM files, text, weblink, or file format, to compliment org-specific learning with Go1’s eLearning content:

Top Tip: Once SCORM files are uploaded in Teams, they will be added to your Go1 library so you can easily add it to another Team or channel. Simple!

Improvements to the experience

The new learning tab allows you as the team owner the flexibility to provide an engaging and compelling learning experience. You now have the ability to:

  1. Segment learning into your own sections and modules, for simpler consumption:

2. Add text to introduce your learning, and re-order learning content to ensure your learners are building on their knowledge contextually. You can group Go1 eLearning content and your own learning in the same sections:

3. If you want to remove content entirely, you can do so by navigating to the ‘re-order’ button on the left-hand side of a piece of content and select the bin icon:

What if I want to return to the old view?

At any time, you have the ability to navigate back to the old view. Simply navigate to the ellipsis in the top right hand corner to switch between views.

If at any time you wish to switch back to the old view, your content will be transferred into the old view for you.
