Note: The Go1 app for Slack is currently in beta and is not generally available. Please speak to your Customer Success Manager if you would like to join the Slack beta group.

Installing the App

Start by opening Slack and navigate to the ‘Apps’ section on the sidebar.

Enter ‘Go1’ into the search bar and click ‘add’.

Once the app is installed, you will be directed to the Go1 app for Slack Home Tab where you can now connect your Go1 account to Slack.

Connecting the App

After clicking on the 'connect' button, the Go1 app for Slack will now start an authentication flow, asking for permission to your Slack workspace. Clicking ‘allow’ will tell the Go1 app for Slack that it can begin the connection process.

You will then be taken to a Go1 login screen - where you will need to log in using a valid Go1 Account.

Once logged into your Go1 Account - you will see a list of all Go1 Tenants you have access to. Select the Go1 Tenant you wish to connect your Go1 Slack App to:

With the Go1 Tenant selected, you will now be asked to grant the Go1 app for Slack permission to access the information within that tenant. Click Authorize to continue:

Once authorised, you will be redirected from your browser back into the Go1 app for Slack.

Here you will be able to see an overview of how to use the app to begin your learning, or click Home to see your personal learning progress.
