A guide to Go1's Content Feedback Insights

Finding Content Insights

Admins can toggle between Skills Insights and Content Insights at the top of the page. Content Insights show both premium content and content created by organizations.

Overview

Content Insights shows what learners within your organisation think about the content they are engaging with. This includes premium content and content authored by your organisation. Like with Skills Insights, change the time period using the dropdown menu at the top of the page.


Average Rating

  • Displays the overall average star rating (e.g., 4.6) for all content in the selected time period.

  • Shows a detailed breakdown of rating distribution (5-star, 4-star, etc.) with percentages and counts.

  • Indicates the total number of ratings and content rated (e.g., "900 submissions on 322 pieces of content").

Average Ratings Over 12 Months

  • Visualizes the trend of average content ratings over the most recent 12 months.

  • Only months with available rating data will appear in the trendline.


Highest, Lowest and Most Rated Content

The table shows the average rating your learners have give content during the time period selected. The tab menu at the top of the table allows you to filter by:

  • High rated - the content with highest average rating

  • Low rated - the content with the lowest average rating

  • Most rated - the content with the most ratings

Each filtered view will show a list of top 10 pieces of content, during that time period. For each piece of content, there is:

  • The average rating from the organization, with the number of ratings in brackets.

  • The average rating from all organization's in that industry (note - industry can be changed from the MyGo1 settings)

  • Hover the mouse to see 'save' 'view alternatives' and 'spotlight' actions, for each piece of content.

  • Alert symbols appear when there's a significant difference (0.5 stars or more) between organization and industry average ratings.

Highlight Cards show the content with the highest and lowest average rating in your organization during the selected period.

  • The cards will only display if there is content that meets a threshold of high (higher than 4 star average) and low (less than 4 stars). The content also needs to have received 3 or more ratings during the selected time period.

  • The highlight card shows the content title, provider, duration, and rating.

  • Click the actions preview the content, save it to My Learning or remove it from Library.


Feedback

Learner Feedback Comments

Comments left by your learners are viewable by clicking into any piece of content featured on the Content Insights page. Note - these can also be found by clicking into a piece of content anywhere else in Go1 Learn, then selecting the 'Feedback' tab.

The Feedback Tab

  • See the content thumbnail, provider, format, duration and quick actions to preview, save or share.

  • Average rating in your organization is based on all the star ratings given to that piece of content by learners of that organization.

  • Average rating at Go1 is based on all star ratings across all of Go1 customers. This is a benchmark for comparison.

  • Sentiment in your organization is derived from the pre-defined 'reasons' that learners can select when submitting a star rating. The number in brackets is how many times the reason was selected. Again, there is a Go1 benchmark for comparison.

  • Organization reviews shows the comments that learners within that organization have written about the content. Also shown is the timestamp of when the review was written and the accompanying star rating. All reviews are anonymous.

  • The AI Summary will create a handy takeaway when there are more than five learner reviews. To read all of the learner reviews, use the 'show more' button to expand the list.

Use the 'Back' button to navigate back to Content Insights.

Feedback Timeline

Beneath the Content table there is a timeline showing recent feedback comments from learners in the organization. This shows the most recent 30 comments, ordered by most recent first. Use the pagination controls to see all of them. Each comment can be clicked into to see the full Feedback tab for that piece of content.


Discover More

Top rated providers in your organization shows which five premium providers learners rate the highest in the selected time period. The list is:

  • Derived only from learners within the organization.

  • Ordered by average rating, showing highest rated providers first

  • Where providers have the same average rating, the list is sorted by number of ratings (shown in brackets after the average star rating).

For each provider, hover to see the magnifying glass. Click this button to 'view more' content from this provider, in the Search part of Go1 Learn.

Top rated content in your industry shows which five pieces of premium content have the highest average star rating in the selected time period. The industry used for comparison is the same one the organization has defined in the MyGo1 settings page. For each piece of content featured, there is:

  • Thumbnail, provider and title

  • Average star rating during the selected time period

  • Button to 'Save' the content to the Learning section of Go1 Learn.


Navigation

  • The time period selection remains consistent when toggling between Skills and Content Insights.
