FAQs
What does “Compliance-related” mean?
Content is considered compliance-related when it addresses topics that help organizations meet legal, regulatory, or internal policy requirements. Examples include:
• Workplace health and safety
• Anti-harassment or discrimination training
• Data privacy and cybersecurity (e.g. GDPR, SOC2)
• Industry-specific regulations (e.g. HIPAA, financial services compliance)
Who tags the content as Compliance-related?
Compliance content is identified using a combination of machine learning and expert review. Our system evaluates each piece of content against a compliance framework, and our curation team verifies the tagging to ensure accuracy.
How is something determined to be "Compliance" content?
We use AI to analyze the content of each learning item — including its title, description, and learning outcomes. The model then compares that information to a set of topics we predefined to be “compliance-related” (like safety, privacy, or workplace conduct).
If the content is a strong match to one of those compliance topics, it’s automatically tagged as Compliance. Otherwise, it’s considered Non-Compliance.
Is the Compliance filter available via API?
Yes. The Compliance flag is available in our Stable v3 API as a boolean field:
is_compliance.
Does this filter guarantee that the content meets legal requirements in my country?
No — the filter simply identifies content intended for compliance use. Always review the content to ensure it meets your organizations local legal or regulatory obligations.
Is this available in both MyGo1?
No — the Compliance filter is not available on MyGo1, you should access Go1Learn to utilize it.
