Create Assignments (MyGo1)

How to create assignments in our legacy platform

Creating an assignment will construct a blank template for you to work through. 

Assignment activities, also referred to as "assignment shells," serve as templates within the course workflow, allowing learners to upload their completed work for review.

Simply create a title for the assignment and add in text in Details that relates to the required assignment. The text will be seen by the user in addition to an upload field where they can submit their assignment. 

Learners will see these assignments in the course player, where they can upload their completed files for submission.

Submissions require assessing from administrators or dedicated assessors and a course will not be marked as complete until all assignments have been assessed if applicable.

Steps to create an assignment:

  1. Go to Initials > Administer in MyGo1.

  2. Access Courses and click Create.

  3. Complete the course details.

  4. Add Learning > Assignment, then enter the assignment title.

  5. Click Edit to add a description and a banner image. Save & Exit when done.

  6. Use the Ellipses (...) option to set completion rules or to delete the assignment.

  7. When ready, Publish the course so learners can submit their assignments.
