Go1 is committed to developing AI responsibly — in ways that are ethical, fair, and transparent. This article explains the principles that guide how we build and deploy AI across our products.
Ethical AI development
We develop AI features based on principles that prioritise customer benefit without causing harm. This means evaluating AI outputs for accuracy and reliability, acting on concerns when they arise, and holding ourselves accountable to consistent standards as our AI capabilities evolve.
Bias mitigation
We monitor AI outputs for bias and take action when issues are identified — including discontinuing use of models or approaches that don't meet our standards.
We also provide customers with a way to report concerns about AI outputs directly to Go1. This feedback is a critical input into our improvement process. If you notice something that doesn't look right, use the in-product feedback options to let us know.
User privacy
Protecting user data is fundamental to how we build our products.
You should never share the following through any Go1 AI feature:
Personal information, such as names, contact details, or identification numbers
Health or medical information
Financial data or payment details
Passwords, access credentials, or security keys
If a user does share personally identifiable information (PII), it is processed only to the extent necessary to fulfil the request and is not retained beyond that purpose.
Go1 does not use your inputs or the responses you receive to train AI models.
Security
Your data is encrypted in line with Go1's standard secure data policies.
Go1 uses Microsoft Azure OpenAI and Amazon Web Services Bedrock to power our AI features. Both providers operate under private deployment configurations — your data is processed within isolated, enterprise-grade environments and is not accessible to other customers or third parties.
Neither provider uses customer data to train or improve their models. Azure OpenAI retains inputs and outputs for up to 30 days solely for abuse monitoring purposes, after which they are deleted — read more about Azure OpenAI data privacy and abuse monitoring. AWS Bedrock does not store or log prompts and completions — read more about AWS Bedrock data protection. In both cases, Go1's customer data is never used for model training or shared with third parties.

Transparency
We're committed to being clear about how AI is used within our products, how data is handled, and what customers can expect. This includes:
Clear documentation of our data collection and handling practices
Accountability processes for how AI decisions are made within our products
Feedback mechanisms for customers to report concerns
Regular review of our practices against applicable legislation, regulation, and industry standards
Continuous improvement and compliance
We actively monitor developments in AI regulation and industry standards globally. We adapt our products and practices as requirements evolve, and conduct ongoing research to ensure our AI capabilities remain accurate, fair, and aligned with customer expectations.
