Understanding the Stripe Verification Prompt – Go1Pay

This article outlines how Stripe's verification process works

Updated this week

When checking out using Go1Pay, you may encounter a Stripe verification screen like the one shown below. This is a standard security step powered by Stripe to confirm the legitimacy of the transaction, especially when using a Visa Secure Payment system.

🔒 Why You’re Seeing This

Stripe is Go1Pay's secure banking and payment partner. It uses transaction history verification to confirm that the card you're using belongs to you. Typically, consumers should choose a past transaction from the list provided to verify their identity.

💳 Why This Is Different for Go1Pay Users

Go1Pay uses virtual, one-time-use cards for added security and privacy. Because these cards:

  • Are generated for a single transaction only

  • Have no past transaction history linked to them

You won’t see any valid past transactions listed here that match your Go1Pay card.

✅ What You Should Do

Since your Go1Pay card doesn’t have any transaction history, simply scroll down and select:
👉 “I don’t recognize any of these transactions.”

Then click Confirm to continue.

🚫 Don’t Worry

This will not block your payment or card. It’s a necessary step due to the nature of one-time-use cards and Stripe’s built-in verification system.
