You can change the language used for Go1's interface to one of many supported languages. Go1 also offers learning content in many additional languages beyond those available for the platform interface.
Languages available for platform translation
Go1 supports the following languages for platform interface translation. Select one of these languages to translate the Go1 Learn interface. Menus, buttons, and navigation will all display in your chosen language.

How Go1 handles language codes from other systems
Your organisation may set a learner's Platform language from another system, such as an identity provider, HR platform, CSV import, or API. These systems often use regional language codes, such as fr-FR, while Go1 may use a base language code, such as fr.
Note: A learner's Platform language does not guarantee that every learning item is available in that language. If a suitable version is unavailable, Go1 uses the learning item's available language.
Go1 handles supported language values in this order:
Keep an exact supported match. If Go1 supports the regional language code, Go1 keeps it. For example,
fr-CA,es-MX, andpt-BRremain unchanged.Use the supported base language. If Go1 does not support the regional variant but supports its base language, Go1 maps the value to that language. For example,
fr-FRbecomesfr, andde-DEbecomesde.Use Go1's default regional code where required. Some Go1 languages use a regional code as their default. For example,
ptbecomespt-PT, andzhbecomeszh-CN.
Language-code matching is not case-sensitive. For example, fr-FR and fr-fr are handled in the same way.
This makes it easier to support multilingual teams. Your organisation can use the language values already stored in its systems instead of manually converting every regional code before sending it to Go1.
Note: Mapping a regional code to its base language does not preserve the original dialect.
For example, a French regional code mapped to fr uses Go1's default French setting, not French (Canada). To use a supported regional option such as French (Canada), send its exact supported code eg. fr-ca
How learners change their language in Go1 Learn
Navigate to your Home page.
Select Personalize in the middle of the page.
Select your Platform language from the dropdown menu.
Note: You may see additional languages in the dropdown beyond those listed above. Go1 uses your language preference to recommend relevant content — even if the platform interface isn't translated into that language yet.
💡 Tip: Admins and Managers can update language preferences for multiple learners at once through the People page in Go1 Learn.
Finding content in other languages
Go1's content library includes courses and resources in many languages beyond those supported for platform translation. When you select a language preference, Go1 returns relevant content in that language - even if the platform interface remains in English.

If Go1 supports the base language, Go1 maps the value to that language. For example, an unsupported French regional code maps to Go1's default French setting. Supported regional codes, such as fr-CA, remain unchanged.
This helps learners receive a useful language preference without requiring your organisation to convert every value before sending it to Go1. It does not mean the learner will receive content in the original regional dialect.

We're always expanding language support based on customer demand. This list reflects what's available today and is updated regularly.
Can I change the language for my entire organization?
Can I change the language for my entire organization?
Administrators can update language preferences for all users at once through the People page in Go1 Learn. However, you can't yet set a portal-wide default language other than English that applies automatically to all users.
Each user can still change their own language preference at any time, regardless of any bulk updates you make.
