Finding content in your desired language
Go1's library includes thousands of courses available in over 40+ languages. There are three ways to find what you need:
Set your Platform language so Go1 prioritizes content in that language across search and discovery.
Search in your preferred language – the search bar interprets queries in any language.
Filter your results by one or more specific languages.
The search bar accepts queries in any language - intelligently personalising your search results to the language you searched in.
You can personalise your search results by:
Search in English with a language reference, for example:
leadership training in French.Search directly in another language, for example:
Cybersécurité.Use logographic queries, for example:
危机期间的领导力.
For the clearest results, search one non-English language at a time rather than mixing several into a single query.
💡 Your Platform language shapes results too.
When your Platform language is set, Go1 prioritizes results available in that language across search and discovery – so French-speaking learners see more French results, Spanish-speaking learners see more Spanish, and so on.
See Supported languages for how to set yours.
Filter your results by language
Use the Language filter to find content in a specific language or across several languages.
Enter a keyword (for example,
data privacy) and press Enter.Open Filters and select the Language filter.
Select one or more languages.
If you selected more than one language, choose how results should match:
Any: Shows content available in at least one of the languages you selected.
All: Shows content available in every language you selected.
Select Apply.
Every result is available in the selected language or languages. This may include content with a standalone translated version, content where learners choose a language when they launch it, or Intelligent Translations.
Your selected matching option stays in place when you reopen the Language filter, including if you remove or clear language selections.
Choose the right multi-language match
Choose Any when you want to broaden your search.
For example, if you are looking for compliance training for teams that speak Spanish or Portuguese, select both languages and choose Any. Results will be available in Spanish, Portuguese, or both.
Choose All when you need one item that can support every selected language.
For example, if you are building a leadership pathway for English-, German-, and French-speaking learners, select all three languages and choose All. Results will include content available in English, German, and French, so you can assign the same item to your whole team.
This matching option is available in Go1 Learn and Admin Curation.
Understanding multi-language content in the library
When you find content available in more than one language, it falls into one of three language experiences.
Content that intelligently translates
Intelligently translated content will automatically adapt into another language based on your own language preferences. You assign the same item and every learner receives it in their Platform language.
How to spot it:
An "AI Modified" label appears on the search result card.
The translated language appears in the Preview drawer under Supported languages.
Content with multiple translated versions
Some translated content can be found in the Go1 library as separate pieces of content - one for each language available. Each is a distinct piece of content with its own title, description, and assignment flow.
How to spot it:
A separate search result – often with its title shown in both languages, for example "Title in English (Titre en français)".
The Preview drawer links out to the alternative under Alternative languages.
Content where learners can select a language during playback
A single course offers multiple language choices that the learner picks when they launch it. The course is one catalog item, but the learner chooses their language at the start.
How to spot it:
A "with other language support" indicator on the search result card.
The available languages are listed in the Preview drawer under Supported languages.

FAQs
Does Go1 Learn support platform-wide language translation?
Yes. Go1 Learn supports interface translation in 29 languages. See Supported languages for the full list and instructions on how to change yours.
What are Intelligent Translations?
Intelligent Translations is Go1's AI translation capability. It automatically translates eligible premium content into 27 languages and regional dialects, so admins and learners can find learning in their preferred language. See the dedicated Intelligent Translations article for the full overview.
Does automatically translated content create duplicates in my catalog?
No. All language variants live under a single content item. You assign once and every learner gets it in their Platform language. No duplicates in your catalog, no extra assignments.
What languages can search interpret?
Search interprets queries in English and other languages, including logographic languages like Chinese (for example, 危机期间的领导力).
Are all search results that match my language filter (eg. French) shown in that language?
Not all content has fully translated metadata - but all content that matches your search and language filters is available for your learner consumption.
What sort of language queries can Search interpret?
Search will be able to interpret queries in English and all other language (even logo-graphic languages e.g. Chinese 危机期间的领导力). When there is a match with the query in our library, it will return the relevant results.
Does Go1 Learn have language preferences i.e. I want to toggle the view and convert the entire Go1 experience from English to Dutch?
Yes - if you set your Platform Language in your Profile, Go1 Learn and any available content metadata will be automatically translated.
Why can’t I find a course when I choose All?
When you choose All, Go1 only shows content that is available in every selected language. For courses with separate language versions, those versions must be linked as alternative languages in the Go1 library. If they are not linked, the course may not appear when you choose All.
