How does intelligent translations work?

When a user sets a Platform language on their profile, Go1 uses that preference to personalise their language experience throughout our discovery, preview, and playback experiences.

  1. Curate in your preferred language
Where eligible content is available in the learner's preferred language, Go1 displays the search results in that language.

  2. Preview in your preferred language
Intelligently translated content will display a personalised preview - allowing the user to view and sample the content in their preferred language.

  3. Personalise your language playback
Intelligent translated content will automatically be played translated - including audio, and selectable subtitles track within the Go1 player. Allowing learners to personalised their playback experience.

💡 Tip: Learners don't need to do anything else. Once a Platform language is set, translated content is prioritized in their experience automatically

How intelligently translated content appears in search?

When your Platform language matches an available translation, search results display translated titles, descriptions, and learning outcomes. You don't need to search in another language to find translated content.

A user who has their Platform Language set to 'English' would see:

A user who has their Platform Language set to 'French' would see:

The results will also indicator any other languages the content is available in:

This enables Admins to curate in their preferred language, by searching, previewing, and sampling the content in their preferred language.

Language indicators
