Change your email address

Add, change, or remove the email address linked to your Go1 account.

Updated today

You can update the email address you use to sign in to Go1. This guide covers how to add a secondary email, make it your primary address, and remove an old email.

Using MyGo1? If you're still on our legacy platform, see How to change the email address through which you access the Go1 Platform (MyGo1).

Prerequisites

  • You must be signed in with your email and password. This option is not available for SSO sign-ins.

  • You can only change the email address for your own account. To update another user's email, contact your Administrator.

Add a secondary email address

  1. Select More actions from the three dots menu in the sidebar of Go1 Learn

  2. Select Profile

  3. Select Edit on the Name and emails section

  4. Type your email address into the Add additional email field

  5. Select Add

  6. Select Save

You'll receive a verification email at your new address. Check your inbox and select the verification link to confirm the email is yours.

Make your new email the primary address

If you'd like your new email to be your main sign-in address:

  1. In the Name and emails section of your Profile, find the email you want to make primary

  2. Select the email you want to make you primary by clicking the radio button

  3. Select Save

Your new email is now the primary address for your account. You can verify by the Primary label on your new appointed email address.

Remove an old email address

To remove an email address you no longer need:

  1. In the Name and emails section of your Profile, find the email you want to remove

  2. Select the delete icon next to that email address

  3. Confirm the delete

  4. Select Save

The email address is removed from your account immediately.

Troubleshooting

I didn't receive the verification email

  • Check your spam or junk mail folder

  • Make sure you entered the correct email address

  • Select the resend email icon next to the unverified email and choose Confirm to resend the verification email

I sign in with SSO

  • Email changes through Profile are only available for accounts that sign in with an email and password. If your organization uses SSO, contact your Administrator to update your email address.
