Compare content side by side

Compare learning options before you choose what to start, save, assign, or promote.

Compare content helps you review learning options side by side before deciding what to use. You can add content from Search results, open a comparison view, review key details, and take the next action available to your role.

Compare content from Search

  1. Open Search in Go1 Learn.

  2. Search for the topic or content you want to review.

  3. Select each content item you want to compare.

  4. Click compare to open the comparison view.

  5. Review the selected content side by side.

  6. Remove any items you no longer want to compare.

  7. Choose the next action available to you.

What you can compare

The comparison view shows key details to help you choose between similar content, including:

  • Title

  • Provider

  • Duration

  • Format or content type

  • Available languages

  • Rating

  • Number of reviews or ratings

  • Last updated date

  • Level or difficulty

  • Sentiment signals, where available

Some details may vary depending on the content type and the information available for each item.

Available actions

Actions in the comparison view depend on your role, permissions, platform, and plan.


Admins may be able to:

  • Assign content

  • Preview or start content

  • Add content to a library

  • Endorse content

  • Spotlight content

  • Add content to a playlist

  • Save content

Managers may be able to:

  • Assign content to their direct reports

  • Preview or start content

  • Save content

Learners may be able to:

  • Preview or start content

  • Save content
