Delete your custom content

Delete content you no longer need in Go1 Learn

You can delete content you've created but no longer need, directly from the Created by us table. This is available for every content type you can create and edit in Go1 Learn. This guide shows you how to delete content and explains what happens to it afterwards.

Delete content

  1. In Go1 Learn, click on the Content tab and navigate to the Created by us table

  2. Find the content you want to delete

  3. Click on the ellipses icon () in the Created by us table or from the editor

  4. Select Delete

  5. Review the confirmation dialog, and confirm if you would like to proceed with deletion

You'll see a confirmation that the content has been deleted, and it will no longer appear in your Created by us table.

What happens when you delete content

Deleting content removes it from view across the platform. Keep the following in mind:

  • It can't be undone. Once you delete content, you can't restore it.

  • Child items are removed too. If you delete a course or module, the items inside it are also deleted.

  • Your content and media are removed. As soon as you delete content, it disappears from view and can no longer be accessed. Fully deleting the content and its associated media (such as videos, images, and files) from our systems can take up to 30 days.

  • Enrollments and sharing are removed. Completed enrolments are preserved. Not started and In progress enrollments are deleted, and the content's sharing settings are deleted - this can take up to 30 days.

Note: If you only want to hide content from learners temporarily, unpublishing is a better option rather than deleting it.
