Morgan by Go1™ helps you follow up on assignments through Automations in Go1 Learn. Set a completion target, review the plan, and let Morgan send learner nudges and manager escalations through Microsoft Teams or Slack.
Before you begin
To create or manage a completion automation, you need:
Portal admin access to Go1 Learn.
Morgan installed in your organization's Microsoft Teams or Slack environment.
An eligible assignment managed in Go1 Learn with a fixed due date.
Each automation follows one assignment. You can set one up after creating a new assignment or for an existing eligible assignment.
Choose a completion target
The completion target is the percentage of assigned learners you want to complete the assignment. It defaults to 100%, and you can change it when you review the plan.
Morgan aims to help you reach the target by the assignment due date. The target guides Morgan’s follow-up plan.
Review how Morgan communicates
Morgan generates and sends learner nudges automatically to Microsoft Teams or Slack. You can preview an example nudge while reviewing the plan.
You can also enable Manager escalations. These messages ask managers to help when their team is unlikely to reach the completion target by the due date. Choose how Morgan sends them:
Send automatically: Morgan sends manager escalation messages when needed.
Approve before sending: A portal admin reviews and approves an escalation before Morgan sends it.
Automations support English at launch.
Understand who can take action
Any portal admin can view, edit, or manage any automation on the portal, including automations created by another admin. Any portal admin can also approve manager escalations.
Managers can receive escalation messages. They need portal admin access to create or manage automations or approve escalations.
Learners receive the nudges Morgan sends about their assigned learning.
Monitor and manage an automation
Open an automation in Go1 Learn to review its Overview, Activity, and Plan.
You can review completion progress and message activity, then open learner details or the assignment report for more information.
You can edit the plan and pause or resume the automation.
Check assignment support
Completion automations require assignment and due date information held in Go1 Learn. Assignments managed in an external learning management system (LMS) cannot currently be automated when that information is unavailable to Morgan.
