How to Create and Configure an LTI resource ( LTI v1.1 and v1.3 ) on a portal

LTI Support is being deprecated soon

As part of our move from MyGo1 experiences into Go1 Learn, Go1 will be deprecating support for LTI content on January 1, 2027. This applies to both LTI 1.1 and LTI 1.3.

What you need to do?

  • Explore if the affected content can be supplied in another supported format, such as SCORM 1.2, SCORM 2004, AICC, or xAPI.

  • Where replacement guidance is available, replace the LTI learning in your course with another supported format.

  • If no supported alternatives are available, simply remove the LTI learning from your course.

LTI v1.1

Prerequisites :

The content provider should supply these required configuration details of the LTI lesson

  • launch_url The content’s endpoint, this is the URL to the content provider’s resource

  • consumer_key the LTI key from the content provider to access the content

  • consumer_secret_key the LTI secret key from the content provider to access the content

Creating an LTI lesson :

  • Create a course

  • Add an LTI LI with the following sample test LTI:

    • Please enter the launch URL that you wish to include: Example format: https://www.onenote.com/lti

    • Enter LTI key: example format: 9b3f9458b6bd4c63854f03b1d237896b

    • Enter LTI secret key: example format: b2ed7c1ad0074265452916c693e6d38005496bdb

  • Launching the LTI lesson opens the resource hosted by the content provider
