Create content views to understand enrollments, completions, and what learners choose themselves.
The right content view depends on what you are trying to understand. You can ask the AI Assistant a one-off question or create a report you can save and return to.
ℹ️ You'll need Manager or Administrator permissions to create or view reports.
Flexible content reporting
You can create content reports for questions such as:
What are learners choosing themselves?
Filter Source to Self-directed to exclude assigned learning.
How is a particular type of content performing?
Filter by Content type, such as courses or videos.
How is one provider’s content performing?
Filter by Content provider to review enrollments and completions across that provider’s content.
Which content has low completion?
Start with the Low completion content template.
Create a content view you can return to
From Reports, start with Low completion content or describe the view you need. For example: “Enrollments and completions for Skillsoft content.”
Review the suggested report type and make sure each row represents one content item.
Apply the filters that match your question, such as Source, Content type, or Content provider.
Choose the columns you need, then create the report.
The report will be available under Saved reports, so you can return to the same filters and columns without rebuilding the view.
Review a particular content item in detail
Click a content item title from your report to see the learners enrolled in it, including their:
Status and progress
Enrollment date
Completion date
Click a learner to review their complete learning activity, including both assigned and self-directed learning.
Content reports show parent-level content, such as a course or video, in each row.
Click an award to review the items contained within it.
