Go1 uses AI to help you and your team get more out of learning — surfacing relevant content, supporting your workflows, and helping you find answers faster.
This article explains how AI works within Go1, how we handle your data, and what you should know before using any AI-powered feature.
Never share personal information, sensitive data, or passwords when using any Go1 AI feature.
What does Go1 use AI for?
Go1 uses AI to make learning more relevant and your work as an admin easier.
Current uses include:
Surfacing content suited to your organization's needs
Helping you find answers to questions through AI-powered assistants
Reducing the manual effort involved in managing learning programs
We continue to develop our AI capabilities in a way that is transparent, responsible, and in line with customer expectations.
What AI models does Go1 use?
Go1 uses Microsoft Azure OpenAI and AWS Bedrock to power our AI features. Both providers operate under enterprise data isolation terms — meaning your inputs and the responses you receive are not used by these providers to train or improve their own models.
What data does Go1's AI use?
When you interact with a Go1 AI feature, it may use information within your organization's Go1 account to provide relevant, in-context responses. This helps the experience feel grounded in your organization's learning environment.
Does Go1 train AI models using my data?
No. Go1 does not use your organization or learning data, nor your inputs or the responses you receive to train AI Large Language Models (LLMs). Your data is used only to serve your organization's experience on Go1.
What should I never share with a Go1 AI feature?
Go1's AI features are designed to support learning — not to handle sensitive information. You should never share the following through any Go1 AI feature:
Personal information, such as names, contact details, or identification numbers
Health or medical information
Financial data or payment details
Passwords, access credentials, or security keys
If you're unsure whether something is appropriate to share, err on the side of caution and contact Go1 support instead.
How does Go1 keep my data secure?
Protecting your data is fundamental to how we build and operate our products. Go1 applies security standards and data handling practices across all features, including AI-powered ones.
For detailed information on our security certifications, data residency, and compliance practices, visit the Go1 Trust Centre.
How does Go1 handle AI and privacy regulations?
Go1 is committed to helping customers meet their obligations under GDPR and applicable regional privacy regulations. We process and transmit data used in AI features in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum (DPA).
Customers requiring a DPA or with specific privacy questions should contact their Go1 account team or reach out via the Go1 Trust Centre.
Can AI features be turned off in Go1 Learn?
AI is woven throughout the Go1 experience and cannot be switched off.
There are two categories of AI used across Go1, and they work differently:
AI you interact with directly — agentic experiences like Morgan, the AI Assistant and Reporting Agent, and LLM-powered experiences like AI-translated content — are surfaces you actively choose to use. Go1 discloses when you're interacting with AI in these experiences. If you don't engage with them, they stay out of your way.
AI that powers the platform — things like how we enrich content metadata, how search surfaces relevant results, and how content recommendations are personalised — runs underneath the product and isn't something that can be switched off. This is foundational to how Go1 works and doesn't involve direct interaction with your users.
These capabilities are fundamental to delivering the best experience on Go1.
If you have questions about how your organisation's data is handled, visit the Go1 Trust Centre or contact your account team.
