Changes from MyGo1 to Go1 Learn

Details of specific changes before the transition to Go1 Learn

Group assignments and course auto-reassignments

Go1 will transition your group assignments and recurring course auto-reassignments to Go1 Learn. You will receive communications when this occurs for your organization.

What this means:

  • You do not need to rebuild eligible assignments yourself.

  • Your organisation will receive an in-product notification with the transition timing.

  • Assignment creation or editing may be temporarily unavailable during the transition.

  • Go1 will notify you when the transition is complete.

No learner notification or learning interruption is expected as part of this process. Learn more here.

User management

User management is moving from the MyGo1 User Management page to People in Go1 Learn. We advise managing users in Go1 Learn now to familiarize yourself with the People page, rather than through the legacy MyGo1 page.

Branded login page

Custom branding and welcome-message settings on the MyGo1 login page will no longer be available. Go1 is prioritising in-product experiences that support learner engagement, including content recommendations, Spotlighting and Endorsing content from your organization.

Go1 still has custom branding in product, such as logo, banner and accent color. If you have configured your logo and accent color, this will automatically transfer across. Adding a banner is new to Go1 Learn and is available to Premium Pro only. You can see your portal branding in Settings in Go1 Learn.

Existing login-page redirects will remain available until July 2027. You should update any saved links before then. For FAQs on branding see our guide here.

Custom URLs

Existing MyGo1 custom URLs will continue to redirect until July 2027.

Please update before then:

  • Bookmarks

  • Intranet links

  • Onboarding documentation

  • Internal communications

  • Other published links

Use the standard Go1 Learn URL wherever possible.

Single sign-on

SSO will need to be enabled again in Go1 Learn settings if your organization uses it.

If this applies to your organisation, Go1 will contact you with instructions. Your IT team or an administrator can then reconfigure SSO in Go1 Learn.

LTI content

Support for LTI 1.1 and LTI 1.3 content will end on 1 January 2027.

This primarily affects organisations using LTI-based learning content.

If your organisation is affected:

  • Go1 will contact you with next steps.

  • Check whether the content is available in another supported format, such as SCORM or xAPI.

  • Review and replace content where available.

Most organisations do not need to take action unless they are contacted directly.

Single-question quiz learning items

The legacy single-question quiz learning item is being removed.

however you can still create the same learning experience in Go1 Learn by creating a single question quiz from the Content page:

Content > Create course > Add item > Create quiz

Sign-up page

Self-service sign-up pages are moving to Go1 Learn. Your organisation’s transition date may vary and will be communicated separately.

After the transition:

  • Existing MyGo1 sign-up links will redirect to the new experience.

  • Learners can continue creating their own accounts.

  • You can copy the new sign-up URL from Go1 Learn Settings.

Some legacy sign-up settings will not transfer automatically, including:

  • Custom Terms and Conditions

  • Privacy Policy links

  • Acknowledgement text

  • Page title and description

  • Background image

  • Preview settings

  • Alternative login URL

  • Post-logout redirect

If any of these settings are important to your organisation, recreate them in Go1 Learn before your sign-up page transition date. For Terms and Conditions, privacy notices or acknowledgements, the relevant content must be hosted on a stable, publicly accessible HTTPS webpage. For FAQs on sign up page see our guide here.

If Go1 has identified a specific action for your organisation, we will contact you directly with the relevant instructions and timing.
