Immersive Simulation results help you understand participation, overall outcomes, and how learners performed against each assessed behavior. You can use these insights to identify where your learners may need additional support or learning.
Using a partner LMS? Manage assignments and due dates in your learning management system (LMS). To view detailed Immersive Simulation outcomes and feedback, sign in to Go1 Learn and go to Simulations.
Before you begin
To review results, you need:
Administrator access to Immersive Simulations in Go1 Learn
A published simulation that learners have accessed
At least one completed attempt before assessment outcomes and feedback are available
The results page shows learners for whom Go1 has an enrollment or participation record. Appearing on this page does not necessarily mean that a learner has started an assessed simulation conversation.
Use the Assignments page and Go1 Learn reports to review the full assigned audience, manage due dates, and send reminders. See Track assignment progress for more information.
Open a simulation’s results
Sign in to Go1 Learn.
Select Simulations from the left menu.
Find the published simulation you want to review.
Select the simulation to open its details and results.
If the simulation was assigned through a partner LMS, follow the same steps in Go1 Learn. Assignment information remains in your LMS, while detailed simulation outcomes and feedback are available on the simulation’s results page in Go1 Learn.
Review the results breakdown
The Results breakdown provides an overview of participation and performance:
Enrolled or Participants: The number of learners for whom Go1 has an enrollment or participation record. Partner LMS customers may see Participants because the assignment is managed outside Go1 Learn.
Pass rate: The percentage of learners with a completed result who received an overall outcome of Understanding demonstrated.
Result distribution: The number and percentage of learners who demonstrated understanding, need development, or have not completed the simulation.
Results by behavior: The percentage of assessed learners who demonstrated each behavior.
Behaviors that contribute to the overall outcome are identified with a Required label. Non-required behaviors are still assessed and included in the breakdown, but they do not affect the overall outcome.
Select View scoring guide to compare the results with the published behavior criteria. The scoring guide is read-only after the simulation is published.
Understand the individual results table
The Individual results table helps you distinguish learning-item activity from an assessed simulation attempt.
Column | What it means |
Learner name | The learner associated with the enrollment or participation record. Select their name to view a detailed result, if one is available. |
Due status | Whether assigned learning is In progress, Completed, or Overdue. Learning is overdue when its due date has passed and the learner has not completed it. |
Progress | The learner’s progress through the learning item. In progress can mean the learner opened the learning item without starting the simulation conversation. |
Outcome | The overall result from a completed assessed attempt. This remains blank until an assessed attempt produces a result. |
Due | The date by which the learner is expected to complete an assigned simulation. |
Completed | The date the learning item was completed. |
Last activity | The date of the learner’s most recent recorded activity. |
Attempts | The number of simulation attempts recorded. Opening or enrolling in the learning item alone does not count as an attempt. |
Use Progress to understand activity in the learning item. Use Attempts and Outcome to determine whether the learner has taken and completed an assessed simulation.
Understand self-directed participation
A learner may find and open a published simulation without it being assigned to them. Their participation and results can still appear on the simulation’s results page.
If the learner completes the simulation, you can review their overall and behavior-level results as usual. Their Due status and Due fields remain blank because the simulation was not assigned. Blank due information does not mean that the learner has no result.
Understand results from a partner LMS
If your organization assigns simulations through a partner LMS:
Use your LMS to manage the assignment, due date, and available completion reporting.
Use Go1 Learn > Simulations to review detailed overall and behavior-level results.
A learner may only appear in Go1 Learn after Go1 receives an enrollment or participation record for them.
Assignment-related fields, including Due status and Due, are not populated in Go1 Learn because the assignment is managed by your LMS.
See Publish and assign simulations through your LMS for more information about the partner LMS workflow.
Review an individual learner’s result
Select a learner with a completed assessed attempt to open the feedback shown to them. The result includes:
Overall outcome and feedback: An overall result of Understanding demonstrated or Needs development, with feedback summarizing the learner’s performance across the simulation
Behavior-level outcomes and feedback: An outcome and explanation for every assessed behavior, including behaviors that are not required
Administrators see the same assessment outcomes and feedback shown to the learner. They cannot access the transcript, audio, or video from the learner’s conversation.
For more information about how these outcomes are produced, see How AI assessment works in Immersive Simulations.
Find and export individual results
Use the controls above the Individual results table to:
Search for a learner by name
Filter by the available assignment, progress, completion, and activity fields
Sort supported columns
Choose which columns appear in the table
Select Export to download the available results as a CSV file
The export follows the filters applied to the table and includes the selected result columns. It does not include conversation transcripts.
Managers do not have access to Immersive Simulation results by default. If you export and share results, follow your organization’s processes for handling learner information.
Use results to plan follow-up support
Use the results to:
Identify common development needs across assessed behaviors
Understand where an individual learner may need additional support
Identify learners who have not completed the simulation
Plan relevant follow-up learning, communications, or support
Important: Immersive Simulation results are intended to support learning and development. They should be considered alongside other relevant information and human judgment, and should not be used alone to make employment or disciplinary decisions.
For guidance on planning how results will be used and communicated, see Roll out an Immersive Simulation.
If a learner has no result
If you cannot open a result for a learner, check the information in their row:
No attempts: The learner may have opened or enrolled in the learning item without beginning an assessed simulation attempt.
In progress with no outcome: The learner has not yet completed an assessed attempt.
No result available: A completed assessment result has not been recorded for the learner.
Confirm that you have opened the correct simulation and clear any filters that may be hiding another result. If a completed result is still unavailable, refresh the page and try again. Contact Go1 Support if the issue continues.
