If your organization uses a supported learning management system (LMS), you create and publish Immersive Simulations in Go1 Learn before assigning them through your LMS. This guide explains where each step happens and how the simulation syncs between the two systems.
The assignment itself is created and managed in your LMS. You do not assign the simulation to learners from Go1 Learn.
Supported LMS integrations
Immersive Simulations currently support these LMS integrations:
Workday
SAP SuccessFactors
Oracle
Litmos
The integration must already be configured for your organization. Contact your Go1 Customer Success Manager if you need to confirm whether your LMS integration supports Immersive Simulations.
Before you begin
You will need:
Access to Immersive Simulations in Go1 Learn
The appropriate administrator permissions in Go1 Learn
The appropriate permissions to manage and assign content in your LMS
A simulation that has been reviewed and is ready to publish
See Create and publish an Immersive Simulation for instructions on choosing a template, tailoring the scenario and scoring guide, testing the experience, and publishing.
How the workflow works
Create, tailor, and publish the simulation in Go1 Learn.
Allow the published simulation to sync to your LMS—or complete your usual manual sync if your integration requires one.
Find and assign the simulation using your LMS’s existing assignment workflow.
Learners launch the simulation from the LMS.
Completion information returns to the LMS, while detailed simulation results are available in Go1 Learn.
Publish the simulation in Go1 Learn
Complete the simulation creation flow and select Publish when you are ready to make it available.
Publishing creates a learning item for the simulation and makes it available to your organization’s LMS integration. You do not need to add the published simulation to your Go1 Library separately.
Publishing does not assign the simulation to learners. Wait for it to sync to your LMS before using your LMS’s assignment workflow.
Sync the simulation to your LMS
Published Immersive Simulations follow the same content-sync process as other Go1 content available through your integration. Depending on your integration, content may sync automatically or require an administrator to complete a manual sync.
Follow the content-sync process already used by your organization. Sync and indexing times can vary, so a simulation may not appear in your LMS immediately after it is published.
See Syncing Content with your HRIS/LMS for general guidance, or find instructions for your LMS in Integrating with Go1 via a partner.
Find and assign the simulation in your LMS
Once the simulation appears in your LMS:
Search for the published simulation by its title.
Check that you have selected the correct simulation and audience, such as the employee or supervisor version.
Assign it using your LMS’s standard assignment workflow.
Select the intended learners or groups.
Configure the availability and due date in your LMS, where applicable.
Review and send the assignment.
Assignment labels and steps vary between LMSs. Follow your LMS provider’s instructions or your organization’s established process for assigning learning.
Go1 does not manage the assignment recipients, availability, or due date for assignments created in your LMS.
What learners experience
Learners access the assigned simulation through your LMS. When they launch it, the Immersive Simulation opens in the Go1 player.
After the learner finishes, completion information is returned to your LMS through the existing integration. Detailed overall and behavior-level results and feedback remain available to administrators in Go1 Learn.
Share Complete an Immersive Simulation with learners so they know what to expect.
See Review Immersive Simulation results for instructions on accessing and interpreting results.
If the simulation does not appear in your LMS
If you cannot find the simulation:
Confirm that the simulation is published in Go1 Learn.
Search using the exact published simulation title.
Confirm that your organization’s usual content-sync process has completed.
Allow time for the LMS to process and index the simulation, then search again.
Confirm with your LMS administrator that the Go1 integration is active and that you have permission to view the synced content.
See Syncing Content with your HRIS/LMS or the relevant partner integration guide for additional troubleshooting.
If the simulation still does not appear, contact Go1 Support or your Go1 Customer Success Manager. Include the simulation title, your LMS, when the simulation was published, and any sync actions already completed.
Remove a simulation from your LMS library
If a published simulation should no longer be available in your LMS library:
In Go1 Learn, select Content.
Open Created by us.
Find the simulation learning item.
Select More options (•••) at the end of its row.
Select Unpublish, then confirm.
After unpublishing, follow your organization’s usual content-sync process to send the change to your LMS.
Allow time for your LMS to process the change. Unpublishing removes the simulation from the LMS library, but the treatment of existing assignments and historical records depends on your LMS configuration.
