Understand Go1 Pay

Learn how Go1 Pay manages learning budgets, requests and purchases.

Go1 Pay is a pre-funded learning-budget and wallet solution within Go1. It helps organizations allocate learning budgets, approve purchases and track employee spending.

Check whether Go1 Pay is available

Go1 Pay is available to eligible Premium Pro and Premium Essentials customers in the UK and mainland Europe, excluding Switzerland.

Contact your Customer Success Manager to confirm whether Go1 Pay is available for your organization. If you do not have a dedicated Customer Success Manager, contact Go1 Support.

How Go1 Pay works

  1. Activate Go1 Pay: An administrator provides the required organization information and completes identity and banking verification.

  2. Add funds: Your organization transfers money into its Go1 Pay wallet.

  3. Allocate budgets: Administrators assign learning budgets to individual learners.

  4. Request purchases: Learners request courses, books, certifications, conferences and other learning resources.

  5. Review requests: A manager, administrator or central reviewer approves the request according to your organization's policy.

  6. Complete purchases: Once approved, Go1 Pay creates a virtual prepaid card for the learner to use on the provider's website.

  7. Track spending: Administrators can review requests, transactions, receipts, expense summaries and statements.

Organizations can also use approval thresholds to allow eligible requests to be approved automatically.

Private and public requests

Learners can make a request private or public.

  • Private requests are visible only to the learner and the people responsible for reviewing them.

  • Public requests may appear in the activity feed, where colleagues can see what others are learning.
