Installation issues

Connection issues

Morgan says the organization is not connected | The Go1 portal connection has not been completed | Ask a Go1 Portal Admin to connect the portal from Morgan. |
Your connection to Go1 has expired | The organization-level Go1 OAuth token has expired or been revoked | Ask the installing admin or Go1 Portal Admin to reconnect Morgan to Go1. |
App installed but no learning appears | Go1 portal is not connected, permissions are incomplete, or learner has no available learning | Confirm the Go1 connection, required permissions, learner account, and assignments in Go1 Learn. |
Learner access issues
Issue | Likely cause | What to do |
Learner sees Connect to Go1 | Morgan cannot automatically match the learner's Slack or Teams email to their Go1 account | Ask the learner to complete the sign-in prompt. Check email matching if this affects many learners. |
Learner cannot access Morgan after sign-in | Learner does not have a Go1 account or required Go1 access | Create or import the learner in Go1, check SSO assignment, or update Go1 access. |
Learner did not receive a welcome message | App access may not include the learner, or access has not propagated | Confirm app assignment and allow time for Teams or Slack policy changes to apply. |
Learner cannot find Morgan | App is not installed, pinned, or available to that user | Ask the Teams or Slack admin to confirm app availability and setup policy. |
Weekly reminder issues
Issue | Likely cause | What to do |
Learner did not receive a weekly reminder | Morgan only sends when there is something important to report | Confirm whether the learner has overdue, due-soon, or newly assigned learning. |
Reminder time is unexpected | Morgan uses the Go1 portal's local timezone | Check the portal timezone in Go1. |
Many learners are not receiving reminders | App access, account matching, or learning assignment data may be incomplete | Check app availability, learner account matching, and assigned learning in Go1 Learn. |
Account matching issues
Morgan first tries to match learners by email address.
If a learner's Microsoft Teams or Slack email matches their Go1 email, Morgan can connect the accounts automatically.
If the emails do not match, Morgan may ask the learner to sign in to Go1.
If your organization uses SSO with Just-in-Time provisioning, signing in to Go1 may create the learner account if the learner is eligible and assigned to Go1 in your identity provider.
If your organization does not use Just-in-Time provisioning, a Go1 admin must create or import the learner before they can use Morgan.
