Go1 Learn enables you to curate, and export content for use in your LMS or HRIS. This article covers the steps you need to surface Go1 Content Hub resources within your own LMS, HRIS, or LXP for your learners.
Check out our What is a SCORM? article, notably the Go1 SCORM specificities on automatic user creation and content updates.
Enable SCORM and xAPI first
In order to download content you wish to use, please first check that your Go1 Platform has the SCORM and xAPI export add-on integration enabled.
You can find the SCORM and xAPI settings in our legacy platform MyGo1, by selecting your user account's avatar from the top navigation, followed by Integrations.
From the list of available Add-on integrations, locate the SCORM and xAPI section and select the toggle so that it is ON.
Once enabled, select SCORM and xAPI from the Add-ons menu. From the SCORM and xAPI page, select the button Generate Application ID to activate.
Now that the SCORM and xAPI add-on is enabled, you can download SCORM and xAPI packages for learning content from Go1.
How to export content
Navigate to Content in Go1 Learn
Once you have shortlisted the resources you would like to export into your Library, select them by either:
a. Clicking on the checkbox for the individual resources
b. Or adding specific filters and clicking the ‘Select All’ checkbox
Once you’ve made your selection, find Export under the ... menu
You can select to download the course details only as a .CSV file, or the SCORM files and .CSV details together
In time, you will receive an email containing links to the SCORM files and metadata which includes course descriptions, durations, and relevant learning outcomes.
Best Practices
Stay informed with monthly retirement emails by opting into a monthly retirement email from within Go1 Learn. This email will notify you of any content that is scheduled to retire from your library in the coming month, ensuring that you are always informed and prepared.
Read more on Managing Content Retirements here.
SCORM-generated accounts are not automatically deactivated when the user leaves the organisation or not longer has access to a Go1 license. Set a cadence to deactivate these users on Go1 individually or with a CSV by following along with the steps in this guide.
