Go1 provides several ways to export content information depending on what you need. You can export a CSV of content details from search results at any time, or export from your Library if you have one. If you need SCORM packages to upload into an external system, you can enable that separately.
Export a CSV from search results
Any admin can export a CSV of content details directly from search — no Library or additional setup required.
Navigate to Search in Go1 Learn
Find the content you want to export using search and filters
Select items by checking the checkbox next to each item
Select the three-dot menu (⋯)
Select Export
Choose CSV to download content details including title, provider, duration, and type
This is the quickest way to get a list of content metadata without changing any settings.
Export from your Library
If your Content page includes a Library tab, you have additional export options.
Export all Library content:
Navigate to Content in Go1 Learn
Select the Library tab
Select Export all in the top right corner
Choose CSV to export content details for your entire Library
Export selected Library items:
Navigate to Content then Library
Select specific items using the checkboxes
Select the three-dot menu (⋯)
Select Export
Choose CSV to export details for the selected items
Note: The Library tab is available for customers who manage content for an external system (sync or export), customers on the Essentials Select plan.
Export SCORM packages
If you need to download content as SCORM files for upload into your LMS, HRIS, or LXP, you need to enable SCORM and xAPI export first. See enable SCORM for more information.
⚠️ Before you enable SCORM export
Enabling SCORM export activates the Library feature on your Content page. This has implications for your team's experience that you should understand before proceeding.
When the Library is active for customers who have not opted in to content preferences:
Your team members can only discover content that has been added to the Library
Search results, recommendations, and AI-powered suggestions only surface Library content
You need to add content to the Library before you can assign it, add it to Spotlight, or endorse it
If you only need a CSV of content details (titles, providers, durations), you do not need to enable SCORM. Use the CSV export from search instead.
Enable SCORM and xAPI export
Navigate to MyGo1 (select Return to MyGo1 in the top banner of Go1 Learn)
Select your profile avatar in the top navigation
Select Integrations
Find the SCORM and xAPI section
Toggle the setting to ON
Select Generate Application ID to activate
Once enabled, export options become available in Go1 Learn. If you have opted in to content preferences, enabling SCORM adds a Library tab for managing what you export, but your team's discovery experience remains unchanged — they still have access to your full catalog with your preferences applied.
Download SCORM packages
Navigate to Content in Go1 Learn
Select the Library tab
Add content to your Library if you haven't already (use Add to Library from search results)
Select the items you want to export, or use Export all in the top right
When prompted, choose SCORM + CSV to download both the SCORM packages and content details
You receive an email with download links for your SCORM files and a CSV with content metadata including descriptions, durations, and learning outcomes
Note: SCORM packages are delivered via email. Processing time depends on the number of items exported.
Which export method is right for you?
What you need | Method | Requires Library? | Requires SCORM enabled? |
A list of content details (titles, providers, durations) | CSV from search | No | No |
A list of everything in your Library | CSV from Library | Yes | No |
Content files to upload into your LMS or HRIS | SCORM export | Yes | Yes |
Tips
Keep content current. If you export SCORM packages, opt in to monthly retirement emails from Go1 Learn. These notify you when content in your Library is scheduled to retire, so you can update your external system accordingly. Learn more about managing content retirements.
Use content preferences alongside your Library. If you have a Library and content preferences enabled, your preferences automatically filter what appears when you browse content to add to your Library. This saves time by hiding content in languages, topics, or from providers that aren't relevant to your organisation.
Deactivate unused accounts. SCORM-generated accounts are not automatically deactivated when someone leaves your organisation. Set a regular cadence to deactivate these users. Learn how to manage users.
