As part of our commitment to provide relevant, high-quality content, we regularly update our library. This process includes the retirement of content. This feature allows you to view retirements and manage changes within Playlists, to ensure a relevant and effective learning environment.
Retired and retiring content in My Playlists
Navigate to Library on the left-hand side menu.
Navigate to the Playlists tab.
Playlists which have retired or retiring content will be tagged with Retirements.
Click on the Playlist, and click on the Edit button.
Scroll down to view content that is Retiring or has Retired. Use the Retirements filter to view retiring items in the playlist.
Retiring content will be displayed in the Playlist list. Hover over the Retiring tag to view when the content will retire.
Retired content will be displayed under the Removed (60 days after retirement) section.
Click on Alternatives to view a suggested list of similar content. For Retiring content, Alternatives are located in the ellipses menu.
Click + to add content to the Playlist.
Click to X to delete the retired content from your Playlist.

Will I be notified of content that is scheduled to retire in the future?
Yes, content marked for future retirement will display a "Retiring" tag, allowing you to update your Playlists in advance.
How is this different from the Retirements feature in my Library?
Both features work similarly, but they apply to different areas. This functionality focuses on managing retirements in your Playlists.
If someone shares a Playlist with me that contains retired or retiring content, will these features be available?
Yes, shared Playlists will also flag any retired or retiring content in the same way.
