Most Used Notification

1. Account Creation

When a learner’s account is created, they receive a welcome email if this feature is turned on. That email includes a special link. The learner clicks the login link for the first time. From there, they are guided to set their own password and complete account activation.

2. Enrollment Creation

If this notification is turned on, both the learner and the author receive a message whenever the learner is enrolled in a course.

4. Scheduled Learning

There are four types of this notification, and each can be turned on or off separately. These notifications ensure learners are aware of their course assignments and encourage timely completion.

5. Event Reminder

Event reminders help both learners and assessors stay informed about the sessions they are involved in or responsible for. These notifications are sent by email and can be enabled or disabled as needed.

For learners:
• Learners receive a reminder when they have an upcoming event scheduled.
• They also receive a notification on the day the event begins, helping them stay on track and prepared.

For assessors:
• Assessors are notified when they have an upcoming event that they are responsible for managing.
• They also receive a reminder on the day the event starts, ensuring they are aware of the sessions they need to oversee.

These reminders help both learners and assessors stay organized and ready for their scheduled activities.

5. External Learning Record Moderation

For Learners:
These notifications inform the learner when their external learning record is updated, whether by themselves or by an assessor uploading a record on their behalf. This helps them track their progress and maintain accurate compliance documentation.

For Assessors:
Notifications keep assessors informed when a learner updates their external learning record or when a submission requires review or marking. Each action can be enabled or disabled individually.

Managing Notification Settings
