Why won't my course complete?

Learn how to update mark items as complete in order to finish a course

Sometimes you may come across a learner who is saying, "I have finished this course a bunch of times but it still won't show as complete!". This is likely because the learner has not marked one or learning items within the course as complete.

If a learner reports that their course is not completing, request that they revisit the course and check the completion status of all sections. Ensure that any sections labeled as "In Progress" are updated to "Complete." Note that some learning items, such as documents, text, links, and videos, may require manual completion. For these items, a "Mark as Complete" button should be available to finalize the completion.

If the course was created by you or a member of your organization, you can also manually update the enrollments within the course to change the status on your learner's behalf.
