How to change the email address through which you access the Go1 Platform

How to add a secondary email address or change an email address used to log in to MyGo1 Platform

Updated over a week ago

This procedure applies only to MyGo1 users. Changing your email via Account Settings is currently not supported in the new Go1 Learn experience.

Do you find yourself needing to change your email, or maybe using your work and personal email to access your Go1 Platform user account? Well with the ability to add a secondary email you can do just this.

Log in to your Go1 Platform account using your email and password. This option is not available for SSO logins and can only be used for the account you are logging into. You cannot change another user's email address with this method.

Once logged in, select your name from the top navigation and then select Account settings.

From the Account settings page, select the option to "Add a secondary email address" and add your email address into the field provided.

You will be sent a verification email to that email address to ensure the email entered is correct and is actually yours.

Click the verification link within this email to continue.

If you are having issues verifying, check your junk mail folder. Alternatively, if needed, you can re-send the verification email by clicking the (...) icon to the right of the email you have added, then select Verify one more.

Once your new email address has been verified, the big green tick will show, and you will have successfully added a secondary email! You can now log in with either your primary or secondary email.
Note: You'll know you're successful when the big red X change to a green Tick.

If you want to go a step further and change your email address, then you will need to click on the (...) icon to the right of your preferred email address once more, and select Make Primary. This will change your secondary email address to your primary email address.

And if you wish to delete the old email address, you can click on the (...) icon to the right of the old email address and select Delete. This will remove your old email address from your account.
